The Northern Illinois Football Conference program is designed to provide an opportunity for young people to learn the fundamentals of football in an atmosphere which stresses sportsmanship, teamwork, safety, and fun in a variety of divisions and levels based on age, weight, and experience limitations. The Carlson Huskies team is based at our Carlson Unit.

The NIFC was created in 2006 to bring a more positive experience to the youth in our communities. While football is a competitive sport, we believe that life lessons can be taught and learned through playing football. The NIFC currently has twelve organizations participating.
