This event, which is normally held in the spring, is one of two donor recognition benefits provided to members of the Great Futures Club. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020, the 2019 Golf Play Day was postponed to the fall. Regardless of when we honor these amazingly generous supporters, we are grateful to these individuals and businesses for what they enabled the Club to accomplish with its members last year.

By clicking the terms & conditions box on the sponsorship form, you acknowledge that IRS Section 513(i) defines a “qualified sponsorship payment” as any payment made by any person engaged in a trade or business with respect to which there is no arrangement or expectation that such person will receive any substantial return benefit other than the use or acknowledgement of the name or logo (or product lines) of such person's trade or business in connection with the activities of the organization that receives such payment. Such use or acknowledgement does not include advertising such person's products or services (including messages containing qualitative or comparative language, price information, or other indications of savings or value, an endorsement, or an inducement to purchase, sell, or use such products or services).

You are also acknowledging if the event is cancelled for any reason (e.g. weather, public health stay-at-home orders, etc) that your sponsorship will be converted to a program sponsorship and recognized as such on the Club's website and social media platforms.

Finally, you acknowledge that only a portion of your sponsorship may be tax deductible. According to the IRS, a quid pro quo contribution is a payment made to a charity by a donor partly as a contribution and partly for goods or services provided to the donor by the charity. The Club will provide a statement to your company specifying how much of your sponsorship is tax deductible, which is primarily be based on goods or services you received in exchange for your sponsorship (e.g. did individuals get to golf because of your sponsorship?)
