Update: SMASH 11 event

    For the last decade, Boys & Girls Club of Rockford's SMASH 11 event has been an exclusive fundraising extravaganza for members of the Club's premiere donor recognition society -- Great Futures Club -- and their guests.

    To no one's surprise, SMASH has become one of the premiere special events in the greater Rockford area. This event foregoes the traditional hallmarks of a traditional evening of fundraising and embraces FUN, social networking, music, dancing and food & drink. Of course, it's all done to benefit Rockford area young people and especially those who need us most.

    While SMASH is typically held in February, the current COVID-19 pandemic prevents the Club from hosting such an indoor event in the interest of public health and the safety of our amazing supporters.

    However, the SMASH 11 planning committee currently is looking at different (and safer) options such as:

    • Moving the event to a different month when the weather is more conducive to social distancing, outdoor options, and other public health best practices
    • Offering an alternative event during the summer that can be hosted outdoors
